The Case
In collaboration with the Athens University of Economics and Business and COSMOTE, we designed and developed myAUEB, the first fully integrated mobile application for a Greek university.
The everyday student experience involves multiple services, information systems and communication channels—from course schedules, grades, assignments and exams to administrative requests, university announcements and career opportunities.
The challenge was to bring all these functions together in an intuitive and personalised mobile environment that would simplify undergraduate students’ everyday lives and strengthen their connection with the University.
myAUEB connects with AUEB’s information systems and brings the University’s key undergraduate services together in a single point of access. Through the app, every student receives a personalised overview of their schedule and academic progress, real-time updates and push notifications, while also being able to communicate digitally with the Secretariat and faculty members.
The application also provides direct access to e-Class, the University’s e-Secretariat and the Evdoxos textbook service. At the same time, it creates a meaningful link to the labour market by giving students access to employment opportunities and enabling them to submit applications digitally.
The result is a new, unified digital touchpoint between the Athens University of Economics and Business and its student community. Within its first six months, the application reached 5,000 users, making access to university services more immediate, organised and personalised.
