For Dr. Mina Gaga, a distinguished pulmonologist with a long-standing clinical, academic and institutional career, we designed and developed a new website that needed to achieve a careful balance: reflect her scientific authority and experience while maintaining the human approach that lies at the heart of her medical philosophy.
The objective was not simply to create a modern online presence for a medical practice.
The website needed to function as a reliable and comprehensive digital environment where visitors could get to know the doctor, understand her medical approach and areas of expertise, and easily access the information they need.
The information architecture was designed to organise a broad range of content with clarity — from her scientific and professional background to medical conditions, services and practical information about the practice — without making the experience feel complex or impersonal.
From a design perspective, we adopted a clean, contemporary and calm visual language that reinforces a sense of credibility and medical expertise, while avoiding the cold, overly clinical aesthetic often associated with healthcare websites.
The photographic direction, typography, use of space and overall interface structure were carefully developed to create an experience that communicates authority, clarity and professionalism while remaining approachable and human.
Particular attention was also given to the patient journey throughout the website. Information was structured to help users quickly find what they are looking for, learn about key conditions and available services, and move easily towards contacting the practice or booking an appointment.
The result is a website that combines scientific credibility, clarity and a human approach, translating into the digital environment not only Dr. Mina Gaga’s professional profile, but also the philosophy with which she approaches patient care.
