How we developed a data-driven SEO architecture for one of Greece’s largest technology retailers
GERMANOS is one of the most recognized names in the Greek technology market. In Google Search, however, brand awareness represents only part of the opportunity. Every day, users search for smartphones, laptops, and TVs, explore specifications, and compare options before deciding where to make their purchase.
For GERMANOS, the objective was to build a stronger presence across these searches as well: the moments when users express a need, but are not yet searching for a specific retailer.
Driving organic growth in a constantly evolving market.
Technology categories attract high search demand and intense competition from retailers and marketplaces. At the same time, new models are constantly being released, older products are discontinued, and availability changes continuously.
In this environment, a strategy based primarily on optimizing individual product pages has clear limitations. What was needed was a structure capable of covering different search behaviors while evolving alongside the market.
Our objective was clear: to strengthen GERMANOS’ presence in high-value non-branded searches and connect organic growth directly with eCommerce revenue.

We started by mapping what users search for, how they express their needs, and what information they require at each stage of the purchasing journey.
We combined search and trend data, user intent analysis, insights from paid campaigns, and an in-depth review of search results and competitors. This analysis became the foundation of a data-driven SEO architecture: every important search cluster needed to correspond to the right page and have a clear position within the website structure.
Focusing on the core product categories, we structured demand coverage through category hubs, subcategories, and selected filter pages. This allowed the SEO strategy to address both broad category searches and more specific needs, features, and comparison-driven queries.
The architecture could only perform effectively when supported by consistent work across the entire website. For this reason, we organized the implementation around several connected pillars:
The project received a Bronze Award in the Best Use of Google Search & Discovery category in 2026.
For GERMANOS, we connected strategic analysis with website architecture and continuous implementation. The result was growth in both users and organic revenue within one of the most competitive sectors of Greek eCommerce.
